The Pergamon Museum is renowned in the whole world, due to its typical original-sized reconstructed monumental buildings such, as the famous Pergamon alter.

The Egyptian Museum of Berlin, 'Altes Museum', holds one of the world's most important collections of Ancient Egyptian Art. This interesting place is, like the Pergamon Museum, also located on the Island Museum of Berlin. In this renowned museum you can find interesting parts of the collection of antiques, including famous works such as the bust of Queen Nefertiti.

The Jewish Museum, 'Jüdisches Museum' whose building was built by the world-renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, covers two millennia of German Jewish history. Since its opening in 2001, it has been one of the most-visited and most famous museums of Europe. Through pictures and texts, art and objects from daily life, media terminals and interactive elements, the historical permanent exhibition tells of Jewish culture in Germany and the difficult relationship between Jews and non-Jews.

The German Museum of Technology currently exhibit just one quarter of their treasures on 25,000 square metres: oldtimers, locomotives and planes, looms, suitcase- and jewellery production and machine tools, computers, radios and cameras, Diesel engines, steam engines, scientific instruments, paper machines, printing presses and much more.

The Bodemuseum is a World Heritage Site and belongs to the museums on the Museum Island in Berlin. It is a historical preserved building, which was completed in 1904. Now it is the home for a collection of sculptures, Byzantine art, and coins and medals.
